Childhood is a magical time and needs to be preserved. By providing a warm, welcoming, safe, supportive and stimulating environment, children will learn at their own individual pace. We aim to provide a loving and nurturing environment that promotes each child’s learning and development, self-esteem and individuality, whilst having a day full of fun where curiosity, excitement and wonder, and spontaneous imagination are nurtured. It is a place of laughter and joy, of friends and memories.
It is necessary to work closely with the children to discover their ideas, interests and provide opportunities for their learning. All children learn differently so it is imperative that this is assessed when preparing the environment and curriculum.
Learning is a lifelong natural activity. Our setting satisfies both group and individual needs. Children have a natural curiosity that should be nurtured through opportunities of exploration and discovery within an enriching environment of materials and resources. Positive outcomes will be reached if we ensure there is a balance of active and quiet times throughout the day both indoors and outdoors to cater for all the children’s needs.
We recognise the importance of communication, teamwork and collaboration in forming a mutual respectful partnership with families and the greater community.
Each child is special and unique. We believe all children are individuals and should be treated with respect and equality. Their cultural diversity needs to be embraced and acknowledged. Families should be encouraged to share their culture, language and home experiences. They should be encouraged to actively participate in decision making and life within our Centre community.
We believe in positive encouragement and reinforcement as tools to direct and promote behaviours. Our educator’s role model the Centre values within their practice; their journeys enriched with passion and joy as they learn alongside one another.

6 weeks - 15 months
Children in the babies room are starting to learn about themselves and the world around them. By working together with families our curriculum provides experiences that allow the children to develop to their full potential. Quality programs focus on sensory learning and development.

Children are becoming more independent and are therefore increasing their cognitive development, including memory concentration, literacy, numeracy and enhanced communication. Our educators ensure that there is a strong partnership maintained at all times with the family, to provide continuity of learning experiences.

The Early Years Learning Framework forms the foundation of our play-based curriculum where the children continue to develop and grow into independent, self-confident and inquisitive learners. Our educators plan and implement the curriculum to ensure that all children's abilities and interests are catered for and children achieve all major learning outcomes.
